Where is Peter Rabbit? Beatrix Potter Musical at The Old Laundry Theatre

Inspired by the world-famous stories, this unique stage show brings to life Beatrix Potter’s favourite characters in a not-to-be missed visual spectacular. Exploding with life, music, special effects, dance and show-stopping songs, this world premier stars Beatrix Potter as the story teller alongside some of her favourite characters: Jemima Puddle-duck, Mr Tod, Mr Brock, Jeremy Fisher, Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs Tiggy-winkle and of course, the world’s famous rabbit, Peter.

Ambleside Sprint Triathlon at Windermere

This open water triathlon event in the magnificent Lake District which includes the excitement of a lake swim in the beautiful Lake Windermere, with transition at the Lakes School, a cycle around the shores of the lake into Ambleside and back for the Novice event and the sprint event up the Kirkstone Pass (Weather dependent for safety reasons) and back down the struggle through Ambleside, and a run around school grounds. Rock The Fells at Bootle Village Hall

Rock The Fells is a brand new arts & music festival in the Western Lake District – the first of its kind in the area. There is a stunning line up of young and established bands on the main stage, with improv acts & guerilla gigs across the site keeping everyone on their toes – enough to satisfy even the most demanding muso! Please be all aware if you are staying with us and attending the Cartmel Races it is advisable to pre book your taxi yourself well in advance. The Whitewater Hotel is not responsible for any issues with taxi bookings during this busy period.

Please note! To book spa treatments, please contact the spa well in advance, as our spa is a very busy one and to avoid disappointment. A deposit of 50% of the price is taken on booking. This deposit is non-refundable If you cancel within 24 hours of the treatment time.

Please be aware that our Cascades leisure club and spa will be shut every January. This is an annual closure and dates for this closure will be announced near the time.

We regret to inform our customers that we do not accept dogs into the hotel with the exception of guide dogs. However, there are dog kennels nearby.
