Evening parties

All prices are based on two adults sharing a standard double or twin room and include Bucks Fizz reception, 3 course festive menu with hats and crackers, dancing till late to our resident Disco, accommodation and full Lakeland breakfast.

Guarantee yourself a superior room with it's river view from only £12.50 per person extra.

Party nights can be arranged for any night in November or December 2008 or January or February 2009.

Organisers of parties of 30 or more receive free overnight accommodation and full Lakeland Breakfast.

Party nights are available to non-residents at £25.50 per person.

ENJOY A TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

Let us do the cooking and washing up this Christmas and in addition be pampered in our fabulous on-site spa - remember your treatments need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th

Arrive between 2pm and 4pm for a welcome afternoon tea, there will be a children's party in the afternoon and welcome cocktails at 7pm. Transport will be available after dinner for those who wish to go to Cartmel Priory for the Midnight Service

Christmas Day, Thursday 25th

After your present opening, join us for breakfast. There will be time for a swim or a stroll before our traditional Christmas Day luncheon. We promise you time to digest lunch and get to grips with the new toys before a light meal is served in the evening.

Boxing Day, Friday 26th

You can choose to go out on a guided walk around the local area or take the chance to explore South Lakeland before returning for Dinner followed by an evening of family entertainment and Disco.

Saturday 27th December

Depart following a leisurely breakfast.

CELEBRATE NEW YEAR

This weekend is a genuine excuse for the ladies to wear their most glamorous evening dresses and it is probable, but by no means a requirement, that most gentlemen will wear black tie.

Tuesday 30th December

Arrive between 2 and 4 pm for a welcome pot of tea. A cocktail party will be held at 7 p.m. to meet other guests. Candle-lit dinner will then be served in the Riverside Restaurant.

New Year's Eve, Wednesday 31st

After a full Lakeland breakfast, in preparation for the night to come, you may wish to take a walk, enjoy a swim, have a massage or simply spend some time in the whirlpool bath.

Join us for Champagne in the lounge from 7 pm, followed by Chef's magnificent Gala Banquet, then dance and party the night away with our Resident DJ.

There will be a visit from a piper and fireworks.

New Year's Day, Thursday 1st January 2009

A special Hogmany Breakfast to start the year will be available until midday.


It is our opinion that the New Year's package is not suitable for children.
