A memorable day requires the most remarkable location and we
are blessed with ours. The Whitewater Hotel nestles on the banks
of the River Leven which flows one mile from the southernmost
point of Windermere on to the sea. The Leven is a noted salmon
and trout river; the sights and sounds of which provide a stunning
backdrop for the rooms, the restaurant, the "Dolly Blue Bar"
and the terraces of the hotel.
The building is steeped in history and has matured into a superb
hotel with 34 rooms, a size which provides an intimate ambience,
no matter the size of wedding.
