Where to find us

The many and varied activities offered by the beautiful Lakes and Mountains of Cumbria and the Furness Peninsula are only a short distance away from the haven that is the Whitewater Hotel. These include sailing, climbing, fell-walking, steamtrain and steamboat rides, the homes of Beatrix Potter, Wordsworth and Ruskin, Furness Abbey, Holker Hall and its marvellous gardens, the Edwardian town of Grange-over-Sands with its lovely coastal promenade.

It is hard to believe but the beautiful Lakeland Village can be found a mere 20 minutes drive from the M6 Motorway. Take junction 36 and follow the A590 to Barrow. Just through Newby Bridge there is a stretch of dual carriageway which ends with a sharp bend to the left. A few hundred yards along the straight that follows, the Whitewater Hotel and Lakeland Village is the turning on the right.
